18th Month Anniversary!
YEAH! It's our 18th Month Anniversary!
18 months = 1yr 6 mths = 1.5yrs!
Maintaining a relationship was never easy. It takes 2 hands to clap and communication can never be a one way traffic. Most couples got into a relationship and started to change. It could be they were trying to be someone they were not but someone they know would attract the person thy love. Or not being able to adapt to the changes that comes into their lives when their status change from single to attached cause their personalities/characters to change.
Don't most of us often hear the guy/girl telling that to the gf/bf, "You have changed!", "You don't used to be like that!" and there's so much more. For those of you who have try fixing jigsaw puzzles(I mean those with @ least 500 small pieces types; not the big pieces kids play.) before, you might noticed that at times, piece A may seem to fit well with piece B. However, shortly after, you picked up piece C and you realized, "Oh! This should be the one to fit with piece B instead!"
It rings a bell, yah? Relationship is just like fixing a jigsaw puzzle, it takes time & patience to complete it nicely. Some ppl simply hates fixing a jigsaw puzzle, some give up 1/2 way and some did it in a day while others may prefer to do abit each day. That's the different approaches ppl take towards maintaining a r/s.
If r/s is like a jigsaw puzzle like I've mentioned...
1) those who simply hates fixing one would be like those who stayed out of r/s for their entire lives...
2) gave up 1/2 way, these ppl might have already found their Mr/Miss Right. BUT the obstacles that came along the way were too much for them to take. They give up!
3) did it in a day could mean that these ppl are those who simply noe all the right ways to maintain a r/s & handle their partner. They can spot the right pieces almost all the times. This way, it cuts down the time of taking out 1 piece & replace it with anor = making mistakes that caused ur partner to be displeased and u hafta take time to please them once more.
4) for those who prefer to do abit each day maybe those who are still exploring the different approaches in handling a r/s. They do not want to rush themselves or their partners and rather move ahead in a slow and steady manner.
So, which one are you? No matter which one you are or you don' t belong to those I've listed above, I wish you happiness and hope you would be able to own a nicely completed jigsaw puzzle one day. (,")(".)
Dear, for those times I put the wrong pieces together, I'm sorry. However, I would work hard to find the right ones. Even if this puzzle of us takes a lifetime to be complete, I'll hold on till the end. Simply because I know you would be there to guide me and the process would be an enjoyable one too.
