I kind of suspect she has gotten addicted to my "The Ugly Truth" session like afew other readers.
Den I received an email from anor reader whom I can't disclose to protect her identity against her EX-bf. She wants me to do a session on "BREAKUPS" - What GUYS need to know abt the stuff GIRLS HATE after a breakup.
From wat I know, there can be afew situations after a couple breaks up. Let's us analyse them all:-
Best Case Scenario
They come to mutual terms with it & decided that they can still be the best of friends or maybe just friends. Of coz, this is the perfect situation and I'm glad I'm having this kind of friendship with Grade A friend. ^_~
Neutral Scenario
Anor one, it's the kind of situation where they don't keep in contact @ all. Both are fine with tis arrangement, nth much to touch on this either.
Worst Case(s) Scenario
This is the case of my dear reader who was so desperate with no other way out but to email me to write an article on it. Though her EX-bf may not read my blog, I guess she wants other guys out there to know the UGLY TRUTH & learn 2 GET OFF the backs of their EX-gfs. Well, I used 2b 1 of those guys who fell into this category. But it's all in the past, it's history alrd & I hope/think I'm a MUCH better man now. =)
Do note, in tis type of scenario, there are ALOT of different cases.
1) Stalkers type - Guys who try MANY ways 2 find out wat the EX-gf is doing now through DISTURBING her friends by calling, smsing & hoping the girlfriends wld "betray" their BEST friend. Or they simply FOLLOWED the EX-gf themselves. Yes, I mean literally follow. We have those who hide near the hse & give the EX-gf a "surprise"! U name it, we have it. I have 2 admit we GUYS do get abit crazy after breakups SOMETIMES.
2) Loser type - Guys who feel sore over the fact that a breakup b/w him & the EX-gf has just taken place. He goes ard bad-mouthing the EX-gf. In some cases which we read on the news, a**hole bf even uploaded online the naked photos of the EX-gf or the sex videos they have recorded when they were tgt.
3) I'm a babe-magnet & it's ur loss type - Guys who tried ways to let u noe that they are a GOOD catch & it's ur loss for letting him go. He upload tons & tons of intimate photos with GIRLS on facebook, blogs, any online places where YOU have access to it. He occassionally text u abt tis or tat girl he met recently. He might be telling u hw he rejected the girl, or how HOT the new girl is or hw MANY girls initiate a one night stand with him & such.
Throughout all these years of informal experience as an Uncle Unbearable (male version of Aunt Agony which I came up myself) for friends of both genders, I have a WHOLE long list of the types of WORST CASE(s) SCENARIO bfs. It'll prob fill up afew pages of my blog, I think. Of coz, I have a list on the types of WORST CASE(s) SCENARIO gfs. Bt this is a session on "The Ugly Truth" initiated by GIRLS for me to come out with tips, hints, tricks or watever u call these to help my other bros, so we just keep the list 1st for future reference. Nw, we need to hear "The Ugly Truth" from female counterparts & how can we avoid falling into this category.
Let me first use my example to illustrate the worst case scenario.
After my breakup with a particular EX-gf, very often, I waited under her void deck. For wat? Sometimes, I wana talk to her into patching up & that's when I waited at an open area where she wld definitely pass by when returning home. If I merely wana "steal" a look @ her, be it just b'coz I missed her alot or I wanted 2c if she found a new love, I wld hid in a discrete corner. Luckily for me, she'd never seen me when I was in the discrete corner & I've nv seen her with anor guy. Coz I really wldn't imagine wat silly actions I wld do if I see.
I made calls to her hse using public phones when she started ignoring my calls. I text her seeking forgiveness & wanted to get back. Den I "engraved" my arms by using a penknife to cut my own flesh & blood "tattoo" the wordings, "Ivan loves xxx". It was silly. (Ppl, pls don't follow!) Her friends happened 2c it when I bumped into them in town. I didn't purposely show it to them, really. Tis I've to make it clear.
I think they prob informed her. Coz she asked me for a meetup shortly after I bumped into her friends. The wound is still there & I wldn't wana let her to see the wordings, so I bandaged up my arm & hafta lie that I fell & fractured my arm. Yes, that's prob the 1 & only lie I ever told her though she most likely alrd know the truth.
When did I wake up? When my mum cldn't take it, she came into my room one day, "Do u think she even bother wat happens to you? She can't even see wat u did to ur arms but wat u're doing nw is hurting urself & ppl who cares for u; our family members & ur friends. Go think abt it if it's worth it." With that, she walked out with tears in her eyes. Up till that point of time in life, my mum whom I looked up to as a role model has never cried for me ever. My heart shattered to pieces & alot of thoughts flowed through my mind, "Why am I doing all these? Why did I make mum teared?" All the whys keep flowing through. . .
Yes, as you read through my story, u'll prob be making alot of comments out loud. I've heard most of them @ that period of my life. But I'm truly grateful that my family & friends seen me through it all. U folks know who u are as I recapped on the story above. Now, all BROTHERS out there. We are MEN, born 2b of the stronger gender. Surely, we can take more than a heart break? I wld like to think, "WE CAN!" U may take any alternative with the EX-gf(s) you have, it's up to individuals.
Be it, u keep in contact as friends or u totally cut all contacts so as nt to make urself so hurt, it's COMPLETELY fine. Just bear in mind this, NEVER allow urself to fall into the WORST CASE(s) SCENARIO.
