Read a meaningful article on MyPaper yesterday... Here's sharing with my dear readers... One fine day, the frogs decided to hold their first tower climbing competition... Alot of frogs came to cheer their froggie friends... As the whistle goes off & marked the start of the competition.. The competiting frogs took off & start jumping onto the towers.. Those frogs who were watching from below started giving pessimistic remarks... "Com'on, this tower is so tall, no frog wld ever reach the top..." Upon hearing that, the frogs gave up one by one... Soon, there were less than 10 frogs still trying to climb to the top... The pessimistic remarks continued... Most of the remaining frogs started to give up too... By then, there was only 1 frog left... He's still jumping & jumping non-stop, trying to reach the tower... Slowly & steadily, he finally reached the top! Without fail, I have been going to Chinatown every year since poly days... Simply b'coz CNY is my fave festival & I love to immerse myself in the CNY's atmosphere at Chinatown! Despite being stuck in the crowd & kana some old folks' pushing & nagging... It's fun to be there every year! =) Alot of stalls placed the signs of, "No Photography Allowed". So I didn't get to take any photo of the CNY items. It was still early as I make my way through the streets... So I can stop & take this nice artisitic photo! wahaha =P The postbox @ Chinatown! My fave thing in Sunny Singapore! =P Have you been counting down? It's 8 more days to CNY!! Time with Zhus was very well spent on all gatherings! Even if there were only 3 attendees... ~_^ On 28th Jan 2008, we had a 85.7142857% attendance! 6 out of 7 were there at Megumi Japanese Restaurant! Though SY & I walked from Clementi MRT stn to Sunset Way... Plus we nearly lost our way... We were still the first to reach... -_-" And we called to ask the rest for opinion on dinner place.. Jap Restaurant or HK Cafe? They said, "The 2 of you decide loh..." But when we went over to the New HK Cafe for dessert after dinner... The first thing they said was, "Why didn't we come here for dinner?" ... *faints* ... Can try this restaurant the next time u go Sunset Way... The food is not too bad in my opinion. =) YZ's Cha Soba! Finally get to visit this place which created so much hu -ha when it first opened. Nth v.great about it.... Small & full of tall pillars! (Blocked my view of 嘉蕙 in cave woman's costume!) And if u're expecting photos of the DJs , be disappointed then. Coz by the time we get in, the area infront of the stage was full... So we decided to just make ourselves comfortable @ the sofa seats... Tadah ! The self-entertained folks! Sorry, for assuming there wld be food. 1 drink each is all we got... Heez =P The girls! It means, you no longer have to fill up the familiar white card(officially known as the immigration card) whenever u're entering M'sia. Chinese New Year - 17days more!! Wohoo ! v(^_^)o Counting down to my fave festival of the year! On Sat, my dearest sis makes us do spring cleaning for the kitchen & living room... Oh gosh! At that moment, Little Genius & I are so glad CNY is only once a year! Try scrubbing dirt off your sofa with a toothbrush for 6hrs!! You would know what I mean then... wahaha * lol * But seeing the results of your hardwork makes it worthwhile lah . =) Sun, dear acc me to Queensway to shop for my new shoes.... With an $80 budget & eyes only fancy ADIDAS shoes... It's oh so hard to look for the right pair! We found one @ $78, both of us were so happy! But the size I want has just one last pair & the right shoe is unbalanced. So, we went off to other shop trying to find anor one. However, when I realized if I don't buy a new pair of shoes, I can use the $$ to buy 4 cages for my babies... I wasn't in a mood to lookout for the shoes. Eventually, I gave up looking for one.
