"That Girl In Pinafore" - 《我的朋友，我的同学，我爱过的一切》     I love simple love stories like this, it simulates my mind in writing my own. Many would make comparison between this Singapore's teenage love story & Taiwan famous writer, "You Are The Apple Of My Eye" - 《那些年，我们一起追过的女孩》。 Since both stories evolve around secondary school days, it's inevitable that comparison are made. If you ask me, I love both movies.   Both have their own strong points. For the Taiwan's movie, it was directed by the author, 九把刀 himself. His books never failed to touch my heart. So by directing the movie himself, he is able to bring out the best in the storyline. As for Singapore's "That Girl In Pinafore", it is closer to heart as the places where scenes were captured and the songs used in the movie are more than just familiar for those born in the 1980s like me.
