Interesting news from our neighbouring country - Malaysia Boleh!

It was already in the news lah, so I bet most of you must have heard.
Our dearest neighbour just across the causeway is on the TRIAL of going paperless.
They are improving on their checkpoints system.
It is SUPPOSED to SMOOTH the traffic at the checkpoints.
We shall see if this action would make any difference. =)
What does a paperless system mean to you?
It means, you no longer have to fill up the familiar white card(officially known as the immigration card) whenever u're entering M'sia.
Means u DO NOT have to fill up the word, "Singapore" 3 times now!
If u have nv seen the white card or filled up one urself, let me explain y it's 3 times.
Coz Singapore being a small country, we have only 1 CITY and that's Singapore.
Therefore on our dearest neighbour's white card, we need to fill up "Singapore" in the fields marked:-
1) City Of Residence
2) Country of Residence
3) Last Country of Embarkation (If u're nt going somewhere else b4 entering M'sia, it shld be Singapore.)
Isn't that GOOD news for all?!
Being a regular visitor of our dearest, nearest neighbour..

3 cheers to no white card system!
However, for those kiasu Singaporeans (My family included) who have stock up a whole stack of the white cards at home, if u're thinking of dumping those dusty cards away, hold it a second!
Reason being, it's still on TRIAL now...
God noes when they would announce that they still prefer having some cards for their officers to stamp on right?
That's why we better play safe & don't play play, just in case! =D
