Taiwan Trip - Day 5!

Day 5 of our Taiwan Trip, we booked a 10-seater van for a whole day excursion!
It was a SUPER cold & rainy day!

What do you do abt that?

Of coz to have our usual NICE breakie!
NICE! YUMMY-LI-CIOUS!

And off we started our journey for the day. . .

Stopped infront of some govt's bldg to take photos.

This hotel used to serve only VIPs from other countries.
Taiwan's govt ltr open it up to public.

Somehow, our nice chauffeur Uncle isn't a v.gd photographer. =P

This is what you get when u go on a trip with a friend who just took up photography.
She gets u to do silly poses. wahaha *lol*
Ok lah, it's fun anyway.

At the front door of Yuan Shan Da Fan Dian.

Next short stop - Shilin Park!

We got so fascinated by these & hafta photo whore with them!
*MOO*

Spot my qing fu @ the corner! =P

Next, 1 of our highlight of the day!

To Yang Ming Shan's flower festival!
Though the Uncle told us most of the flowers have already withered, we still get 2c nice scenery!

Wong Family @ Yang Ming Shan!

zhuzhu with the nice & clear waterfall!

While these ppl are having fun tgt. . .

Ivan went on his own way. . .

Yang Ming Shan was a memorial or sth for this Mr Wang Yang Ming.

Ivan got busy taking photos of statues, till . . .

He got SUPER HIGH when he see this!

SQUIRREL!
This little fellow was enjoying food given by other park go-ers that it simply stayed where it is as I took lot of photos!

They have this 海芋plantation.

If u folks ever watched a Taiwanese idol drama by Xu Shao Yang, this is where they took 1 of the scene, I think. =)
The theme song was "花香".

Our next stop - This place was blowing VERY STRONG wind!
It was so D**N B****Y COLD!

Look @ my qing fu's coat.
U noe the wind is blowing like nobody biz!

And my CL was not posing for this photo, it was REALLY freezing!

We braved the STRONG WIND & COLD just to take these photos!

At least it was worth the sacrifice. =)
The scenery is nicer when we view it while we were there.
Sometimes, photos just don't do much justice.

After a long day, it's time to fill up our stomach!

Uncle brought us to Keelung for seafood dinner!

Amazingly, we finished etg!
Probably coz the dinner costs us TWD8,000!
S$1 is ard TWD20; do ur maths.

Guess where we went for our next stop?

The wind is really STRONG, just take a look @ HZ's hair!
And her umbrella nearly break.

They hid behind the wall for shelter after crossing the bridge coz it was really cold!

Where did we go exactly?
These girls nearly KILL me for the COLD WEATHER!
All b'coz I wana go dan shui Lovers' Bridge!

Juz look @ how nice it is.
The COLD is totally WORTH it! \(^_^)/

On a cold cold evening, u just need to get something HOT to drink, rite?
Settled @ this little cafe.

Nice & cosy interior. =)

Simple menu.

Heart shaped tiramisu!
Taste wise still quite ok, but I love the one we ate @ Hsin Chu still!

At Lovers' Bridge, such a romantic place & having to order a heart shaped tiramisu. . .
How can I miss taking a photo with my qing fu?!

She said, "You're so gona do me dead with this photo!"
That explains her awkward smile lah. =P

Nice waitress offered & asked if we want her to help us take a group photo.
That's wat I call, "GOOD CUST SVC!"
*thumbs up*

We wanted to get some nice local delicacies for our other 1/2 of 5G1U who were spending Good Friday(Our gathering day each yr, I'm truly sorry I forgotten for the 2nd time) in Sg.
Nice uncle took us to the shop which their President recommends.

And Uncle Wong can't miss taking photo with a photo of his idol!

That marks the end of our Day 5 after we bought tons of sun biscuits, cheese cakes, pineapple tarts, etc from the shop.
