The Ugly Truth about "Nothing"

“You look bothered.” You asked with concern.
“Nothing.” Came the reply.

Should you probe further? Well, it largely DEPENDS on the GENDER of the person who replied you that.

Let’s talk abt the simpler one first. If the person who replied you is a guy, den when he said nth, just leave him.
If a guy don’t wana talk abt his problems, he would NEVER say a thing no matter hw u force him or how many times u asked.
Do note:- NEVER THREATEN.

You would only PISSED him off BIG time if u keep on asking. He wld just find u naggy & u're just making a nuisance out of urself. Even IF u're someone he likes, he WOULD not tell u a thing. Coz, it MIGHT be highly possible that he's troubled over u.

However, if the other party is a gal, den this is tricky.
Let's talk abt the MAJORITY lot of gals in GENERAL.
You saw her bothered face & out of concern, you asked, "You look bothered."
She replied, "Nothing." (Hidden meaning:- Ask me again.)

You knew sth is wrong & asked again, "Are u sure? U dun look ok."
Her reply, "Nothing." (Hidden meaning:- Pls ask me once more.)

Knowing gals being gals, you aked once more, "Tell me about it, you'll feel better."
For 50% of the gals, they would give in & said, "Ok, actually. . ." & the story goes.
IMPORTANT NOTE:- You only need to reply no more than 2 words each time she paused.
Meaning u only hafta nod & say, "Yup.", "Yes", "I see.", "Oh.", "Orh.", etc.
Yes, u get the point?

Wat abt the remaining 50% of the MAJORITY?
U need to ask them wat's wrong for a couple more times.
Eventually, they would tell u. Why? Coz in their hearts, they alrd have a burning desire to share.
However, they just NEED to know that you care enough to continue asking. So, feed their desire.
*NOTE - Ask gently & express ur concerns each time u asked after she replied, "Nothing".

What abt the MINORITY?
Mind you, there are really SOME gals who just hate ppl poking into their biz. So, watch out for that irritated tone in their FIRST reply of "NOTHING!".
Guys, STOP right there. I'm not kidding you on this.
You wouldn't wana be the male lead actor in the Korean movie, "My Sassy Girlfriend." ^_~

Play the games SMART though SOME rules can be BROKEN. =)
