I've been waiting for it for the longest time! After Tortor evolved into a butterfly and flew off, I've been looking foward to another caterpillar on our plant everyday! So, this morning, when Mum shouted, "The caterpillar is eating up my plant again!", I was so excited and ran out to look at my new pet and my sister, Qiqi commented, "Who waits for caterpillar and keep as pet?" Well, my answer was, "I didn't see a caterpillar, I saw a butterfly!" That makes me thought of what my super idol leader shared over the weekend. I am an introvert, I'm not into sales and probably won't do well in it, so I should not be in MA. Well, but to change, you have to step out of your comfort zone. Push through the challenges and obstacles, you would emerge a better person! Through the dragon boat training, I've seen many similarities with MA. Being in the sport, all the team members are in the same boat with one goal in mind. So is being in MA, we are one team, one dream. In dragon boat, there's only one correct way to paddle and all we have to do is to master that one way. Then rowing would be a breeze and you don't feel so shagged after the race. However, my Mum has decided to join me for the first time! I'm truly so proud of her! Just last week, I had dinner and a heart to heart talk with my lyrics classmate, Christine aka Shang Rui. Few years back, she decided to come and work here in Singapore. Initially, her parents objected strongly. However, seeing the positive changes in her whole family ever since she came here, she never regretted making that decision. This was what she said, "I never expect the little decision which I made will affect my family members that much." 16/04/16 :- Who are you accountable for? 你對誰有責任？ I've invited my whole family to be present during my 1st dream board presentation, . For a simple reason; my dreams are all about them. Since young, other than being a devoted guy in love, I'm well known for my short span interest in other stuff and give up easily. That was why I've choose to invite my family to the presentation, it's like letting my team be the witness for my promise to them. Many would have heard the analogy of doing the same thing for 21 days and it would become a habit. The chances of giving up after that get reduced significantly. Since 01st Aug 2015, after I've make an important decision to start planning for myself and change the life I am leading with the actions I've started to take, my family has gotten used to the changed me. How many of those words do we actually remember? How much do we prepare ourselves before speaking them? More often than not, we do not remember what we said nor do we have any preparation before speaking them. Yet, we neglect the effect it would have on the listener. I love seminars like these where you learn a great deal from most of the invited speakers. Here's sharing some of the important learning points I took back from the seminar :- Financial freedom is like a soccer game; play it as early as you can. Do not wait till you are 40 to start playing. The golden years where you are young and fast would have been over. It would then be a struggle for you to be financially free.
