Went for Masters of Wealth seminar yesterday at RWS, Sentosa.
I love seminars like these where you learn a great deal from most of the invited speakers.
Here's sharing some of the important learning points I took back from the seminar :-

Financial freedom is like a soccer game; play it as early as you can.
Do not wait till you are 40 to start playing.
The golden years where you are young and fast would have been over.
It would then be a struggle for you to be financially free.
PLAY FAST AND PLAY HARD before it's GAME OVER and the CHANCE IS OVER!

Actions determine who you are and words describe who you want to be.
Fear is a choice, we need to stay focused and stop procrastinating.
If you have no money, you don't wait till you have money to take actions.
That day would never come. Go out and take actions to earn your money!
Life rewards those who takes actions!

Everyone of us have dreams.
However, as time goes by and we grow old, we might have forgotten them.
They are not lost but kept somewhere deep in our minds or hearts.
Fight for your dreams, and your dreams will fight for you.

Some people do not have choices till the day they die, but we have.
Never waste a second of your life.
If you ever lost someone you truly love, you would feel the same as I do.
One of the speakers shared this, "I want to make something of my life because his/her life was taken away."
Though Grandpa, Grandma and Dad are no longer around, I shall make more out of my life to take care of Mum and also do something for the extended family.
For now, that would be to work hard in achieving my dreams of renovating 2nd Uncle's house for him.

Of course, last but not least, from the main speaker we were there the whole day for!
1) The Rich do not work for money!
2) Your house is not an asset!
3) Savers are LOSERS!

Education is good; however, the traditional education system teaches you to be poor.
It teaches you not to make mistakes or you would be punished.
But without making mistakes, how are you ever get to learn?
If you maintain your calm and look straight at your mistake, inside you would find a valuable lesson.
The day we stopped learning, is the day we start to die!

In school, there's only one answer.
In real life, there are more than one answer!
The best way to learn something is to do it!
Discussion is a good way of learning; school defines this as CHEATING.

Rich Dad's idea number one is to CHEAT.
Ask for help to get you out of where you are now.
He quoted Albert Einstein, "We can't solve problems using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."
