SAVE THE POLAR BEARS! 拯救北极熊！

Do our little part, it means a lot to them.

尽我们的一点本分，这对它们意义深重。

I am not a saint and I am yet to be called a GREEN Ambassador as much as I would want to.

However, I try my best in ways that I can to educate and lead by example for people around me.

Especially my love and close ones.

It always pain my heart to see photos or hear news about the harm humans are doing to Mother Earth.

I often see people wasting food during their everyday meals and at buffet. Over ordering of food at group gatherings, home parties, etc.

Though I believe that anything that can be resolved by money is not an issue or a problem.

There's a clause to this belief of mine.

If you spend money to resolve something yet at the same time cause harm to someone or something else, that is a HUGE problem!

A good example, the weather is hot, you spend money installing air-con at home.

You are rich and you definitely can afford the increase in electricity bills.

So, that solves the difficulty of living under the heat.

Many people failed to see that you have cause tremendous harm to Mother Earth and other living beings on it.

You have just make yourself turned into a selfish human without sparing a single thought for others.

At the same time, I cannot believe that you have failed to see the vicious cycle here.

The weather is hot - You switched on the air-con - More harm is done to Mother Earth - Global warming worsen - THE WEATHER SIMPLY GETS HOTTER - You switched on the air-con longer and more frequently - And the story goes on and on, getting more and more serious with each cycle.

All we need is to think twice or even thrice the next time we want to switch on the air-con. A little consideration goes a long way.

Let our future generation be able to see a real polar bear and not learn from their text book that it has since become an extinct animal...

我不是圣人，也还没有资格当上理想中的环保大使。

但是，我尽我的所能在我的能力范围里灌输并以身作则地让身边的人了解环保的重要性。

尤其是我至亲至爱的人。

每当我看到照片或听到有关地球被糟蹋的新闻时，我的心都好痛。

我经常看到人们在每日用餐与自助餐的时候有多浪费食物。

在聚会与开派对时总是订购过多的食物。

虽然我的理念是凡是钱能解决的问题都不是问题。

但在这个理念的背后也有例外。

如果你用金钱来解决某个问题的过程中对其他人或事造成伤害，那就绝对是个非常恶劣的问题！

一个很好的例子，因为天气炎热的关系，你在家装置了冷气机。

你有点钱，电费因而涨了那么一丁点，对你而言不痛不痒。

同时，你天真地认为已解决酷热的问题。

可是，人们忽略了这当中更为重大的问题；你已严重伤害了这个地球与其他生长在地球上的万物。

你的决定让你变成了个自私自利的人。

我也很困惑怎么你还看不到这是个恶性循环。

天气闷热 - 你扭开冷气机 - 地球暖化逐渐恶化 - 天气因而更加闷热 - 你扭开冷气机的时间更长，次数更多。 - 情况每况愈下

其实，我们只需要在下次想开冷气机时，一而再再而三地认真思考。

就那么一丁点的公德心威力强大。

让我们的后代能够亲眼看到北极熊而不是通过课本认识这个已经绝种的动物。。。

最后一只北极熊死在你手里。
