You Are The Apple Of My Eye



I've read 九把刀's books before & this movie has been highly recommended by friends who have watched it.
Even a lot of Taiwan celebrities & 1 of my fave DJs, Xiao Jiao Hui said it's a very nice show.
So since then, I've been waiting for it to be released in Sg.

Having heard such good reviews, a full of high expectations me went to catch this movie with Ohana.
My sisters gave it a 5/5 rating.

I don't know how to grade it though.
I like how the story goes but not the ending...
But well, maybe at times, we need non fairy tales ending stories to remind us what reality is?
Or perhaps, imperfect is beautiful in their own ways?
Nevertheless, I think everyone of us need to go watch this show.
Like the trailer said, "每个男孩心中 都有一个沈佳宜。"
I think 90% of the guys or even girls out there had once met someone whom they wished they knew how to treasure them back then?

Quite a lot went through my mind during the show...
Sweet memories, sad regrets & the list goes on.
After the show, Qiqi said, "That's why if you like/love someone, let him/her knows."
I know. However, it's not that easy...

Sharing with you 2 of my fave sentences in the show...
成长 -- 最残酷的部分就是女孩永远比同年龄的男孩成熟，女孩的成熟没一个男孩招架得住。
我都以为我自己是个超有自信的人，但那时我才发现，原来在喜欢的女孩面前，我是个胆小鬼。

Can totally feel it; kana punched(learnt from Qiqi) by the sentence.
In her own words, it meant something like a punch line that pierced right through your heart or sth like that.

The only difference between the male lead and me is all along I know I'm a coward in front of the gal I like...

When I saw the ending, I can't help but got reminded of the emotions I had when I wrote the song,《 美丽的遗憾 》.

Well, a someone asked, "U've didn't blog over the wkend?" I kind of suspect she has gotten addicted to my "The Ugly Truth" session like afew other readers. Chinese New Year 2009!

How was your CNY, folks? If you have not been enjoying, do yourself a favor, man! There's still 11more days of CNY, play hard & enjoy yourself for at least 1 full day, yah? =) Every year, I look forward to CNY! If you have a family as BIG & CLOSE as mine, you wld be too. However, it doesn't mean you can't have the same kind of happiness like I had if your family is much smaller. =P Upon arriving at our beloved Gpa's hse, we just can't resist taking photos with our youngest cousin, WL! Cousin no.29 special! Each year, only during this moment, we have the adults serving us! (Jie's joining the adults group next year to cook for us!) heez =P Since we have nth to cook or eat just yet, we grab the chance to photo whore! The whites, the greens & the kiddies! v(^_^)o Ohana!
