24/03/13 :- Things might see clearer when you get out of the picture... 从局外看事情或许会比较清楚。。。 I do not deny I'm easily frustrated by certain things or people. My temper is not good but I try my best to hold it. As I grow slightly more mature watching the years go by, whenever I feel the anger/heat is coming, I would tell myself to step out of this whole situation to look at things. If I can successfully do just that, many times, I can cool down by myself. I would be able to make a better judgement and avoid disputes/arguments in that case. I hate to give explanations, so if in the 1st place, I avoid disputes/arguments, I do not need to be forced to explain anything. Though most of the times, I still choose not to explain. As much as I hate to give explanations, I hate to be misunderstood...

07/03/13 :- Good guys finish last, but stay with you till your last day! 好的男生或许是女生最后的选择，但他们会陪你到生命的最后一天！ More than once, different people at different stages of my life tells me this, "Ivan, girls don't like good guys. You need to learn to be bad!" 在生命里的不同阶段里，不仅一次都会有人这样对我说，“Ivan, 女生不喜欢乖乖男。男人不坏，女人不爱。你要学怎么做坏男孩。” I have never buy that crap and never will. Even if most girls really like bad guys, that is none of my business. 05/03/13 :- Do not lie the obvious! I may not have IQ of the smartest person on earth, I am definitely smarter than you in many ways! 别睁着眼说瞎话！ 我的智商虽然没有相等于世上最聪明的人，但我在很多方面绝对比你聪明得多！ Usually when a person lies, they leave behind traces for others. If you listen, read between the words and analyse what they said more carefully, you would spot these loopholes. It's definitely true when they said, "You need another 1,000 lies to cover the 1st lie." That's when liars keep lying just to cover up their previous lies. Why would you want to lead such a miserable life? By having to keep lying and even keep up with it and in time to come, you wouldn't be able to distinguish between the truth and lie you said. It is not others who you have lied to, you have merely wasted your whole life by living in your world of lies.

  04/03/13 :-   If you won't accept a one sided note, why would you allow yourself to take in a one sided story? 如果你不会接受单面钞，哪你又怎么容许自己接受单方面说的故事？   I love watching Justice Bao's shows. Why? Simply because he's a man of justice. It didn't matter to him if the criminal is the Emperor himself, someone of Royal Blood or a kin of his. He treats them equally, giving them the punishment they deserved and returning justice to the innocent.   Not everyone of us can be Justice Bao in today society. However, we can at least do our best in giving both parties a chance to speak up for themselves when things go wrong and you are asked to be the mediator. 03/03/2013 :- I usually do not care how others think of me and that's where I got my confidence from! 通常我都不太在乎别人对我的想法，这就是我自信的来源！ When I was very young, I try to impress others. Anyone and everyone around me, I try very hard. I try to behave how others feel I should, but I was never happy. I change according to the way people think/feel/say is correct. I've forgotten when I start telling myself, I live only for myself. I am in charge of my own happiness and so why must I lead the life others feel I should? Slowly, I brain-washed myself into doing things I like. There are good and bad in doing so. The good side was I slowly gain more confidence throughout the years. My stubbornness grew as well and that is the negative effect. However, I have never regret talking myself into making that change. 21/02/13 :- The sunshine in my heart keeps me smiling! 心中的阳光就是让我一直微笑的理由！ There is double meaning to the sunshine I kept in my heart. I love the sun and I associate happy thoughts, things and people to sunshine. Though it's not easy, I try my best to only contain happy stuff in my heart. That is what keeps me smiling. Another reason is I love sunshine type of girl and for now, someone in particular. Even though we may not get to see each other as much as I like to, there is always so much to talk about whenever we meet up. I still get the butterflies fluttering in my stomach kind of feeling before our every meet up and my heart still races whenever I am with her. She has rejected my love, not once nor twice but thrice. I know not if I should or would I ever confess a fourth time. So, for now, the best place to keep my feelings for her is my heart. And by doing so, it keeps me smiling! \(^_^)/

17/02/13 :- One should never be afraid to make the 1st step. . . 我们不该害怕踏出那第一步。。。 There's the saying of the 1st step is the hardest. But there is also another saying, "A thousand miles journey starts with the 1st step." If we are always afraid to make that 1st step, we would never ever reach the destination we desired. Yes, it may not be easy. However, as time goes by, things would just settle on its own. The stuff you were afraid of in the 1st place may never happen or they would just be resolved on its own.

14/02/13 :- Blood is thicker than water! 血浓于水！ I'm not sure about others, but my extended (both paternal & maternal) family plays an important part in my life. Without them, I would not be the Ivan I am now. Some of the decisions I made in life, they might not agree but they would never fail to stand by me when things go wrong. Family always come 1st. That's why I despise people who put lovers/friends/work/hobbies, etc before their family. I also tend to look out for ladies who has great relationship with their family. If family was never your top priority, don't expect them to help you when you are dumped by your lovers, betrayed by your friends or when you got sacked from your job! What goes around comes around, start treating your family well if you've not been doing so. Don't come to regret only when it's too late!

07/02/13 :- Sometimes, some feelings are better kept in the heart unsaid... 有时候，某些情感还是藏在心里不说比较好。。。 Have you ever met someone, slowly fallen for her but never said the words you should? There are a lot of reasons why you didn't say those words. But a few years down the road, you would come to realize, maybe it wasn't that bad to keep them in your heart. =) It may actually be the best choice you have ever made for the both of you.

06/02/13 :- Like Father Like Son - There would always be similar traits no matter how you try to deny. 有其父必有其子 - 总有你无论如何都无法否认的共同点。 He contributed in bringing you to this world. You would always have his genes in you. Be it looks, character, personalities, somehow you would have something in common somehow. It could be good or bad and you absolutely have no control over it. Like Dad, I'm as stubborn as can be and has a foul temper towards my nuclear family. I love to speed and has just gotten my 1st summon. Dad had countless. (I don't want to break his record for that.) We are definitely MCP. (Male chauvinist person) However, we only love one woman deeply at one time and we tried our best to give her all we can. Do not be bother by what others say in front of you or behind your backs, we know ourselves best. As long as our conscience is clear, we have no fears. 04/02/13 :- Never believe everything others tell you, try it out yourself! 别人说的话，别照单全收，自己试试看！ In life, people tell you a lot of things. Most often than not, they added, "It's true!", "Trust me!", "I'm not lying to you!". I do not deny the stubbornness in me. When someone tells me a certain movie suxs, I'll still go ahead and watch it on my own. When people said a particular makan place sells horrible food, I would try out the food and have my own verdict. These are the not so serious stuff. Have you ever stop pursuing your dreams just because others tell you that you won't be able to make it? And what do you do? You give up trying all together or keep going to achieve what you were make for to prove them wrong? I hope you choose the latter. What the others said are what/how they think/feel, it does not and should not represent yours. We are all unique individuals, we should be able to have a mind of our own to think and feel...

03/02/13 :- When others say things that sound unpleasant to your ears; THERE'S NO NEED TO BE ANGRY, just treat them as lunatic. 当别人说了些不动听的话时，无需生气，只要把他们当作疯子即可。 Words are cheap and most people just speak what they want anytime they like. We have no rights to stop them. However, we can always take the power away from them to make us angry. Whether or not they say those things on purpose, there is absolutely no need for you to be angry. Just keep your cool & think of them as lunatics and you would know it's not worth harming your health by being angry. (^^,)

31/01/13 :- Stop pleasing others but YOURSELF! 别再讨好别人了，是时候讨好自己！ In life, most of us spend a lot of our precious time trying to please everyone around us. We neglect the most important person in our lives - OURSELVES! Some of us, when we were young, we listen obediently to our parents and take up whatever lessons they planned for us, giving the best shot. In school, we strive to perform and excel in our studies so that teachers would be proud of us. At work, we do all we can to get into boss' good books or at least to pass a smooth day at work. In a relationship, we try to talk and behave in ways our partners want us to be. The list goes on and on and on. . . In this life journey, if we didn't put a stop to all these and wake up in time, we would soon lose ourselves. . . 30/01/13 :- There's always someone who is stronger than you, so learn to be humble! 总会有人比你强，要学会谦虚。 Never ever think you are in any way better than anyone else. In this world, there is something we are good at and things we would need to seek others help on. Do not be too proud to ask for help irregardless who the other party is. No one sets the rule that a father is not allowed to ask his son for help or a teacher can't ask his student question on things he is unsure of. We are not perfect and we can't possibly know all that is to be known in this universe. Just be a humble individual and the world would be a better place to live in! =)

29/01/13:- Most of us look at our own reflection in the mirror at least once a day. How many of us actually see the real us? 大多数的人一天至少照一次镜子看看自己。 但又有多少人看见了真正的自己？ There are all sorts of people in this world. At some point in life, we have images of how we look like. Perhaps some are exactly how we are like. Maybe some are how we wish we are like. Some of us short change ourselves while others think too highly of themselves. I used to be a Channel 8 fan, never failing to catch all the 7pm and 9pm drama series. (I still love Channel 8 shows, it's just that I don't have the luxury to watch TV everyday as one grow up with more responsibilities coming our way.) Even when I was having exams during my primary and secondary school days, I would always negotiate with my dad for that 2 hours of TV. He was a very strict dad who expect us to take afternoon naps on Sundays, sleep at 10pm every night, no drinking of soft drinks, etc. My TV times were precious moments of my childhood. Since I started watching Channel 8, there are 2 yearly shows which I would never missed; the Star Awards and President Star Charity. For now, though I no longer chases the 7pm and 9pm drama series, I still mark my calendar in reminding myself to catch these 2 programmes every year.   After waiting for 2years+, S.H.E has finally come together to release their latest album, 《花又开好了》!   As 1 of their fanatic fans, I was queuing at JP's CD Rama right after work, eager to lay my hands on their new album! There are 2 versions for this album; 1 is the 豪华版 special edition which we have to leave our names to reserve before the album was released and the other is the so called normal version. The special edition comes with a special sunflower seed and the cover photo was taken during the Milan trip sponsored by their company.   I didn't leave my name earlier cos I didn't know we have to do so and if I leave my name now, CD Rama will help us order and notify us again if there are still stock available. That would means it is not confirmed that we will get the special edition album. I have never like taxi drivers, especially when it comes to sharing the roads with these reckless and unreasonable drivers (a minor group of them who's enough to piss one off). Not forgetting the taxi driver who caused the chain collusion I was involved and yet dare to have the cheek to report the case. Took MC saying he was injured when he can come out of his cab and yell with giantic hand actions claiming the rest of us behind him were at fault on the day the accident happened. He jam brake for no reason and he was so fierce that his passenger don't even dare to come out of the cab and testify against him. Of course, there are a handful of nice and friendly ones who try their best to observe road safety.
