The group of friends you see below has a minimum of 4yrs friendship with me & the longest being 16yrs.
Let me walk you down my wonderful friendship memory path & introduce my precious friends to you readers since I've mentioned these ppl every now & then in my blog. =P

We have been through the worst part of our friendship & nth's gona tear us apart anymore. Living in 2 different c'tries & often busy with our own lives, we seldom get to meet. But the root of our friendship has grown so deep that we wouldn't mind travelling across the causeway just to have a meal tgt & then back home.

99% of our meet ups were all last-minute. Even travelling all the way to Melacca can be so last minute. That's how much I can give to accommodate for friend(s) who truly care in one way or another. I'm someone who goes by feel/emotions, I trust my instincts most of the times; so u ought to make me FEEL your SINCERITY in this friendship like my friend here does. Though she nv tags, but I noe she's a loyal silent reader of my blog. =P

We get to know each other at the time when MIRC was the "IN" thing among "youngsters". On the 1st day we met after chatting online for some time, I guess neither of us expect that 10yrs down the road, we would be like 2 uncles meeting up on wkends to eat prata & drink kopi/teh after a badminton/squash game or a gym session. But well, I always believe in expecting the unexpected. We're very different yet very alike; it's nt sth words can describe. When we were working part time after O'levels, our colleagues even thought we were twins.

Some of you have this grp of frenz like mine too. The types who come to ur hse and call ur Mummy, "Mummy" and not auntie. Every now & then, for no reason, drop by ur hse with some boost of tidbits (pocky/hello panda/etc) juz to give u encouragement. They laid ard ur hse, on ur sofa, on ur bed, cook in ur kitchen & treat ur hse like their own w/o a slight feeling of awkwardness. This is a group of family's friends. Each family knows all of us & we are each other families' friends!

Due to our busy schedules, we rarely meet up. However, the kind of familiarity does not fade with time. Heart-felt efforts were made to cheer each other up whenever needed. In us, we have a friend to rely on. True friendship is not determined by the number of times u meet each other in a year or how much words you exchanged, it's the feeling of ease u have around each other no matter when was the last time u met.

Our ups & downs in this friendship is like a roller coaster ride. Perhaps, that's wat make it exciting. =) Full force or not, for every gathering or meet up, we have 101% fun & laughter! With them ard, u can show ur most unglam side. Be it lifting ur eyelid to chk on the dust particle while asking anor to hold the mirror, burp loudly in a posh restaurant, pukes like a merlion, go crazy over a singer on stage, u name it, we do it all! v(^_^)o

These ladies nv failed to suan me like nobody biz whenever we get together for dinners or outings. Though it has been a SUPER DUPER LONG time since the 4 of us meet up for all the fun & laughter, peace & joy, I still hold u folks dear in my heart. No matter where we are & how are we getting on in life, Aly always wish for u to be happy & 幸福!

She said I'm her best KTV buddy coz I always managed to sing the songs she wana hear yet duno hw to sing. 7hrs of KTV for 2 persons; that's the KTV King & Queen for u! =) We understand each other so well that we can even see through each other at times. It takes time & effort to build up that telepathy. We are so close that we can just tell each other straight in the face our truest honest views w/o the fear of offending one another knowing it's meant for our good.
Why did I bother to dig out all these photos of SOME (in case I missed out any other grp) of my closer grp of friends & type such a long entry?
Just because sth struck me on Sun as I braved the rain to meet my piggies for a last min dinner.
Mum drove the car to work, it was raining cats & dogs, I alrd had my dinner when they dated me & I noe darling wasn't in the BEST of her pms mood. Yet, I went out to meet them w/o a 2nd thought.
Why? For a simple reason, THEY ARE MY FRIENDS WHO TRULY CARE FOR ME AS MUCH AS I CARE FOR THEM. Even if they start to shout at me for no reason, I won't even feel angry, I noe my friend(s) is/are just in a bad mood & wld even worried y are they feeling lousy.
As for some other ppl in my life, pls do not think we are very close to each other to the extend tt u can raise ur voice at me for sth that wasn't my fault & dig into my personal matters, yet think I'm selfish not to let u noe. Ur unreasonable behavior pissed me off BIG time yet u think I'm just petty to begin with.
It's not entirely wrong for u to think that way though; coz Virgos forgive BUT we never ever forget what you have did to us!
To my close friends, they know how patient I am & for me to be mad at you, u must have either crossed the line of my comfort zone or break the limit of patience that I have.
The bottom line is, know the difference b/w u & my friends.
I have a minimum 4yrs of friendship with any grp of them & that can't be compared with the months of relationship we have/had.
